Gratitude
As I sit quietly and enjoy my morning coffee, I reflect on all of the blessings and challenges I’ve faced.
2020 was not an easy year for anyone. No one expected a pandemic. No one expected that we would run out of toilet paper, wipes, and hand sanitizer.
Despite all of the challenges and unforeseen circumstances, I am grateful for each of them. Why? Because each challenge helped me to:
- Grow as a person (mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend)
- See things from a different perspective
- Continue to develop my character
- Learn humility
- Love God and people first
Each challenge also taught me that I must live my purpose and create the life that I want for my family and me.
Today…
I am grateful for this year because I am developing the best version of myself.
I am grateful for my husband and daughter because they keep me grounded. They are my rocks!
I am grateful for my mom because I get to spend time with her and my aunts.
I am grateful for my brother and his family because we grow together.
I am grateful for my husband’s children because they taught me the value of bringing two families together.
I am grateful for my job because I can work from home.
I am grateful to technology because it keeps me connected to family and friends near and far.
I am grateful for my tribe because they are my support system.
I am grateful for my immune system because it keeps me healthy.
Let gratitude strengthen us! Today, I invite you to take a few minutes to write 10 blessings and why you are grateful for each of them.
